Daily TopicsDay 1 (10/6/14): Introduction to the Articles of Confederation (The first try to create a government) and it's major successes and failures.
Day 2 (10/7/14): The Articles of Confederation are gone and the Constitutional Convention is created to develop a new government. Day 3 (10/8/14): The founding fathers and the role they played in the creation of the Constitution. Day 4 (10/9/14): What are the 6 major principles of the Constitution and how can it be changed? Day 5 (10/10/14): Ratification! The struggle over ratification begins and the battle between the Federalists and Anti-Federalists. Day 6 (10/14/14): Quiz on 5.1-5.3 Day 7 (10/15/14): Powers of the Three Branches Day 8 (10/16/14): Continuation of the powers, and checks and balances. How can each branch make sure the other doesn't get too powerful? Day 9 (10/17/14): Introduction to federalism, and what powers the state and federal government have. Days 10-11 (10/20 -10/21/14): Civil Liberties and the Bill of Rights.
